Introducing BAYRIDGE Reg'd: Boxers and Great Danes
My name is Deborah Schenher I am a mother to six children, a Loving wife who has a husband that accepts my love for this hobby, and a breeder of quality Boxers and Great Danes.  Bayridge began over nine years ago when I had fallen in love with the Boxer breed and purchased my first boxer "Rocko".  Rocko became a Canadian Champion and I was hooked on showing dogs.  Rocko was the family couch potato who kept all of the puppies in line.

Bayridge, in the few short years we have been breeding and showing, has become a very well known hobby kennel.  All of my dogs are raised with, and are a part of our family, so we only breed the occasional litter.  My breeding program is based on temperament, health and above all true Boxer and Dane type! I believe strongly in doing all of the required health tests for both Boxers and Danes.  Each sire and dam of our litters has been tested long before a litter is even conceived.

I bred my first Boxer litter in 2000, three of the pups became very well known in the show ring, and the two girls I kept have progeny that are doing very well in the show ring today.  To date, Bayridge has produced 21 Canadian Champions, 3 American Champions and 1 Brazilian Champion that went Best in Show in Brazil.  Among them those dogs we have bred- a multi Best in Show (in Canada), multi Best In Specialty winner, multi Best Puppy in Specialty winners, multi Group winners.  I was also named the Top breeder of the year for 2004 and 2005 by the Regina Kennel & Obedience Club and Top Breeder of the year by the Boxer Club of Canada for 2005. 

Danes have always been a breed I wanted, but until the right Dane came along I decided to wait. Banjo was my first show Dane; he is everything a Dane should be! He had the size, substance, temperament and health that I so wanted. We bred our first litter of Great Danes puppies in August 2006.  Both of the pups from this litter will be making their show ring debut in 2007.  I hope my successes in the Great Dane world will be just as good as the Boxer world.
